Gary and Angela looked for over 3 years to find
the perfect lake front property. Their
priorities were a drive to location away from
highways, a safe sheltered waterway with good
fishing and a western exposure for beautiful
sunsets. They found all they wanted on the West
Arm of Lake Nipissing.
Gary and Angela have severed 3 lots from their
property. The West Arm of Lake Nipissing has
remained pristine because easy access didn't
occur until the 1960's, when two bridges were
built on Hwy 64. The majority of the lakefront
along the West Arm is Crown land. The West Arm
has approximately 30 km of sheltered waterway
with easy access to the entire lake. An
attribute of the West Arm is that the lake depth
generally varies from 20'-90' in the center,
providing easy lake travel. In addition, there
are many quiet bays and sheltered areas.`
The West Arm provides good fishing for Walleye
(pickerel), Northern Pike, Large and Smallmouth
Bass and Muskie.
Canoers or kayakers can paddle through the West
Arm, West Bay, main lake, to the French River or
other combinations of smaller rivers and lakes.
